Dear Editor:

I would like to take the time to thank the voters of the second ward for coming out to support myself and Mayor Dennis Elwell in the Primary Election. I was truly impressed and humbled by the amount of supporters that came out on Election Day in spite of a warm, muggy, and at times rainy day. I have had the pleasure of meeting a great number of you while campaigning door to door. It was a very enlightening and encouraging experience. The residents were very gracious and receptive, at the same time satisfied with the state of the town and pleased with the services provided. I enjoy hearing their compliments, concerns and opinion on various town issues. The feedback of the residents was very interesting and constructive and showed the care and pride they have in Secaucus. From now until November, I look forward to greeting all of you again and also to meet the people I have missed. I will continue to run on a position of positive issues and proven results including; clean, “safe” streets, exceptional services, extraordinary youth and senior programs, a phenomenal school system and state of the art facilities. Everyone has pride in the Secaucus Public Library, the Arthur Couch PAC Center and the new Recreation Center. Our latest addition, the recreation center, not only benefits the youth of our community, but also offers the citizens of Secaucus both young and old alike an affordable means to a healthier lifestyle. Last but not least, we will continue to deliver affordable property taxes to our citizens.

I want to congratulate my running mates John Reilly and Dawn McAdam as well as our committee members who won their elections. I am privileged to work with a team that grew into a family. I would like to extend a special thank you to Mayor Dennis Elwell for giving me the opportunity to run with his team and to hopefully represent the second ward in the future as your councilman. As a Secaucus citizen, I appreciate his passion for the town and I truly believe in his mission and I am grateful to the accomplishments he has made throughout his tenure by making Secaucus the 11th best place to live in New Jersey. I also want to thank everyone on the team who worked hard for all of us. Too many to name, but I must mention my good friend Albie Rinaldi, who walked side by side with me during the entire campaign. I truly want to thank my wife Cheryl (who has stood by me in every endeavor I chose to undertake) and my five children (especially my “go to guy”, Michael) who were all there to help me on Election Day. It was heartwarming to have my family at my side the entire time.

Once again, I am looking forward to seeing all of you from now until Election Day. Lets all come out in November, “true Democrats” and concerned citizens of all party affiliations. Working together, we must continue moving Secaucus Forward on a successful path to maintain the great quality of life we in Secaucus have grown accustomed to.

Sincerely,

Frank Trombetta
