Change yer clocks and check yer freakin' batteries

(Hudson County style...)

Now that it's getting a little warmer, you lose an hour on Sunday, March 8 when we spring ahead to Eastern Daylight Time. When it reaches 2 a.m., set the clocks ahead to 3 a.m. And it's not even spring yet! Spring starts March 20.

It will stay Eastern Daylight Time until Nov. 1, when it "falls back" to Eastern Standard Time.

This is also a time to remember to check if your smoke detectors are working, and if the batteries are fresh. It MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE.

These places are exempt from the March 8 change: Arizona, Hawaii, Mariana Islands, Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Midway Islands.

None of those places are in Hudson County, so we don't really care.
