Dear Editor:

Inserra Supermarkets (ShopRite), the Hoboken Fire Department and Hope Head Start Program Have been assisting families in Hoboken by donating turkeys and all the trimmings.

A special thanks you goes to Ms. Yvette Ypelaar of the Hoboken program as well as Mr. Larry Inserra, (CEO- Inserra supermarkets), Maryann Donahue, (Consumer Affairs of Inserra of Inserra) and the staff of Hoboken Shoprite for their efforts in making this donation a reality.

We would like to also thank the members of the Hoboken Fire Department for their continued efforts in keeping this tradition and many others a reality. The Hoboken Fire Department will be starting their toys for tots program immediately after the Thanksgiving holiday. Every year, members donate a portion of their own money and purchase toys for the children of the pediatric ward of Hoboken University Medical Center. The Hoboken Fire Department wishes everyone a joyous and wonderful holiday season.
