Founded in 1983, The Hudson Reporter publishes nine weekly newspapers, capturing the highest home-delivered circulation of any newspaper in Hudson County. Our award-winning periodicals also include specialty publications and two, glossy magazines: Jersey City Magazine and Palisade.

The past few years have brought tremendous change to the western banks of the Hudson River.

As newcomers flock to the area and explore their surroundings, long-time residents are meeting their neighbors - and discovering new opportunities - at every turn.

Luxury developments line the riverbanks, and boutiques, restaurants and art galleries are opening every week. Young families fill the streets with baby carriages. Empty nesters and young artists wait together for trains running along the expanding light rail system.

But change can be hard. Transformation does not come easily.

How does one gain a sense of community in a new and evolving place? Where can you turn for resources, entertainment and a bird's-eye view of our home along the Hudson?

We created hudsonreporter.com to answer some of those questions, yet we hope it will do more. We'd like our site to be a sort of meeting place a town square, if you will, where you can read about the people, politics and places that make living here so exciting.

I left a message with Help Me Howard and emailed a reporter from the NY Times (who had wrote about the Celebration Studio). Trust me, I hate being in this situation, but in my view going to Lucy's house doesnt do a single thing. Good luck though!

Hudson Reporter if you a reading.......write a feature article :-)

I dont know about you but I am not going to be the lamb waiting to be slaughtered by these lowlifes - especially when the lowlife is old enough to be my grandmother. I feel like a nieve bananahead that she got over on me in the first place. I am defintely not going to sit by complacently and take this like a B*tch.

In fact, I hope they call the cops on me and I get in the paper...This way the whole community will know what snake in the grass weasals these people are.

As long as you stay off their property and do not harm or damage anything you have a right to protest. All they police can do is ask you to go home. They can not force you if you do not break any laws. and just think of the awarness you will create! ! call a few newspaper down and let them do a story!!

Hi Everyone,

I am not sure that would be the best idea to go to their house although I am VERY tempted! They could call the cops on all of you.

Lucy claimed and stated repeatedly that she would not become "Celebrations Studio" the studio that didnt deliver and went bankrupt in 2008. Now she is living it and making us suffer. I beleive in karma so one way or another she will get it coming. Also, in terms of services, I am not sure they can get out of delievering what was on the contract. We have a lawyer so we will be talking to him today.

In addition, I think we need to create awareness of Sonia Crew's, Lucy's daughter and partner in MMS, new business: ESCAPE TO BEAUTY. Escape to Beauty shares the studios space in Hoboken. I am concerned that they took our money to build up the business - very unethical!!! Hudson county and all of the tri-state are, please do not do business with her as you will be scammed!

Thank you scammed. We just called to see if this is true and we recieved the same message. We hired a attorney couple of weeks ago since we still have not recieved any of our stuff after paying 13,000. Very upset!

I am also in the process of getting ripped off by Mario Michele. I gave them a deposit of 2K for my wedding in September, however, I called to ask a question and hear a voice message that they filed for bankruptcy. Chances are Im never going to hear from these scumbags again. Hope they rot in hell.

We have a nightmare with Mario Michele Studio . We hired them for our wedding in summer of 2008 and we still do not have the finished products. Lucy and Sonia are both unethical, unprofessional and frauds. They have a F rating from the BBB and have many complaints online. They never return emails or calls. It takes them at least three emails before they reply back. At first they are very responsive and call when the deposits are due; however once all deposits are paid they put their clients on the back burner. It took over 6 months to get the RAW pictures and footage and once we did receive it discs were broken or the fiels would not open. Bottom line they have failed to deliver on the written and verbal contract and lack client service. If you would like to discuss, please leave your email address and I can contact you.

Referring to unkind comment by new councilman Ruane about Cupo & Kantor. "This brings sore losing to a whole new level". It also brings your level of compassion to a lower level for many citizens. Shame on you.
